Connect Oura Ring with instingo

Your Oura Ring automatically tracks your daily steps and activities. To sync this data with instingo, you need to connect your Oura Ring to either Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android).

The setup process varies depending on your smartphone operating system.

For iPhone Users (iOS):

If you are using an iPhone, follow these steps to connect your Oura Ring with instingo via Apple Health:

  1. Set up your Oura Ring:

    Make sure your Oura Ring is properly set up and connected to the Oura app on your iPhone.

  2. Connect Oura Ring to Apple Health:
    • Open the Oura app on your iPhone
    • Go to "Menu" (three lines in the top left)
    • Select "App Settings"
    • Tap on "Apple Health"
    • Enable "Steps" and other desired metrics
    • Allow the Oura app to write data to Apple Health

  3. Install the instingo app:

    Download and install the instingo app from the App Store (if not already installed).

  4. Connect instingo to Apple Health:

  5. Test the connection:

For Android Users (Health Connect):

If you are using an Android device, follow these steps to connect your Oura Ring with instingo via Health Connect:

  1. Set up your Oura Ring:

    Make sure your Oura Ring is properly set up and connected to the Oura app on your Android device.

  2. Install Health Connect:

    Install the Health Connect app from Google Play Store. On newer Android devices (Android 14+), Health Connect is pre-installed.

  3. Connect Oura Ring to Health Connect:
    • Open the Oura app on your Android device
    • Go to "Menu" (three lines in the top left)
    • Select "App Settings"
    • Look for "Health Connect" or "Android Health"
    • Enable the connection and allow permissions for step data

Troubleshooting Tips:
