Connect Whoop with instingo
Connect your Whoop band with instingo and participate in step challenges
Whoop is a professional fitness tracker that captures detailed activity data. You can easily connect your Whoop band to instingo to participate in your company challenge.
Step 1: Connect Whoop to Apple Health (iPhone)
If you use an iPhone, first connect your Whoop App to Apple Health:

Update Whoop App: Make sure your WHOOP app is up to date by checking for updates in the App Store. To do this, open the App Store, search for WHOOP, tap the page and press "UPDATE" if available.

Open Whoop App: Open the WHOOP App and then go to the "More" menu

Access App Settings: Scroll down and select "App Settings"

Open Integrations: Tap on "Integrations"

Select Apple Health: Select "Apple Health" at the top of the page

Connect: Tap "Connect" and follow the instructions

Select Data Categories: Choose "Turn All On" or specific data categories you want to sync (at least "Steps" for instingo)

Confirm: Tap "Allow" to confirm the connection
Note: WHOOP members can also enable the Apple Health integration during initial device setup.
Step 2: Connect instingo to Apple Health
After connecting Whoop to Apple Health, now connect instingo:

Open instingo App: Open the instingo app on your iPhone

Open Tracker View: Go to the Tracker view in the app

Tap Apple Health: Tap on "Apple Health"

Grant Permission for Steps: Allow instingo to read step data from Apple Health

Done: Your Whoop steps will now automatically sync with instingo via Apple Health
Step 1: Connect Whoop to Health Connect (Android)
If you use an Android smartphone, first connect your Whoop App to Health Connect:

Install Health Connect: If not already installed, install Health Connect from the Google Play Store

Update Whoop App: Make sure your WHOOP app is up to date

Open Whoop App: Open the WHOOP App and go to the "More" menu

App Settings: Scroll down and select "App Settings"

Integrations: Tap on "Integrations"

Select Health Connect: Choose "Health Connect" from the list

Connect and Permissions: Follow the instructions and allow Whoop to transfer steps and activity data to Health Connect
Step 2: Connect instingo to Health Connect
After connecting Whoop to Health Connect, now connect instingo:

Open instingo App: Open the instingo app on your Android smartphone

Open Tracker View: Go to the Tracker view in the app

Tap Health Connect: Tap on "Health Connect"

Grant Permission for Steps: Allow instingo to read step data from Health Connect

Done: Your Whoop steps will now automatically sync with instingo via Health Connect
Common Questions about Whoop and instingo
Are my steps transferred in real-time?
Synchronization occurs as soon as your Whoop band syncs with the app. This typically happens automatically several times a day when you have your smartphone nearby.
What should I do if my steps are not displayed?
Check if the Whoop App is connected to Apple Health or Health Connect and if instingo has the required permissions. Also make sure your Whoop band has synced with the app.
Can I also use other Whoop data in instingo?
instingo primarily uses step data for challenges. Other health data such as heart rate or sleep are not transferred.
